AdsLED is proud to be a supporter of Million Dollar Pink Ribbons.  An Annual Fundraiser started by the co-founder of AdsLED, Paul Martin, for the Austin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.  The campaign consists of 12 Pink Ribbons on the website. Each Ribbon is divided into 750 sections that are available for a donation and branded by Section Donors. Your support will be visible for an entire year! The goal: To raise one million dollars each year to benefit Komen Austin – and to bring us one step closer to finding the cure for breast cancer.

AdsLED donated an indoor LED Display to the Mechanical Engineering Dept at Kansas University.  They started a new student group called the KU EcoHawks.  The goal of their associated project is to design a production quality, fuel neutral series hybrid vehicle.  They are  using the LED display to output the power generated by the solar panel array. This solar array will be charging the fully electric plug-in 1974 Super Beetle. It is important for the EcoHawks to be able to visually display the power that the solar panels are generating so that an average person may be intrigued at what renewable energy is capable of.  Funding has been drastically cut to all of their programs due to the state of the economy, so we were glad to help.
AdsLED has provided free advertising for the month of December to The Christmas Bureau of Austin & Travis County to help increase awareness and support for families in need.
The purpose of The Christmas Bureau of Austin & Travis County is to reach all families who are in need and may have only the barest of necessities at Christmas time. Founded in 1964, we serve as an umbrella organization encompassing all community groups and citizens who work together in giving to the needy during the Christmas season. The Bureau matches needy families with agencies/sponsors who provide a suitable meal and/or toys and gifts to the applicants.

Instead of giving any sort of discount, we thought about offering Steve Klecka, owner of Tony's Pizza in Peotone, IL, a sure fire way to bring in more clients.  After providing a LED advertising solution for his restaurant, we decided to take it one step further.  Let's buy some pizza.  And give it away.

AdsLED bought $1000 worth of pizza, and Steve brought it to a local high school football game.  There, the FFA (Future Farmers of America) students sold it by the slice as a fundraising event, and Steve had coupons available with every slice.
Instant fame, fortune, and community support.

One way, AdsLED and their clients can give back.

AdsLED donated an indoor LED display to a local daycare center, The Children's Courtyard, in Austin, TX.  The center is having a silent auction to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization that enriches the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work.
Update:  Children's courtyard raised close to $1000 for the local Make-A-Wish Foundation.  Click here: Thank You Letter
